BEHIND THE LENS

My name is Darcia Plaisir, the creator behind DMProductions. I am a photographer and videographer based in Montreal, currently studying at Concordia University, with a focus on storytelling through visual media.

My work is rooted in capturing real moments with a cinematic approach—highlighting emotion, energy, and authenticity. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with sports teams, athletes, and event organizers, creating both photography and video content that brings moments to life both on and off the field. I have also worked in social media management, helping teams and events develop a stronger visual identity through consistent and engaging content.

Through DMProductions, I aim to go beyond simply capturing images. My vision is to turn moments into stories—whether it’s a graduation, a championship game, a portrait session, or a special event. Every project is approached with intention, creativity, and a focus on storytelling that feels cinematic and timeless.
